Reference

The Reference section is the lookup material: every UI panel, every preference setting, every command-line flag, every configuration file format, every term used in the rest of the manual. You don't read this section start to finish. You come here when you need to know what a specific dialog does, what a specific config file controls, or what the difference between two technical terms actually is.

In This Section

  • UI Views: Every panel and view in the application, with what each one shows and the actions available from each.
  • Settings: Every preference under Window → Preferences, what each setting controls, and the default value.
  • Command Line: Headless invocation. Running recordings, replays, and load tests from the CLI for CI integration and scripted workflows.
  • Config Files: The on-disk configuration formats Load Tester reads and writes, including the workspace layout, repository structure, and ASM rule definitions.
  • Glossary: Terminology used throughout the manual, alphabetized.

If you're looking for a specific UI element or setting, search is usually faster than browsing. The Reference section is here for the cases where you don't know what to search for yet.
